Knitting keeps me grounded, distracted, happy and productive. Being fast just helps me support my habit ... I knit like everyone else, one stitch at a time and I love each and every one of them.

Are You Ready to Frolic?
It's getting to be that time of year again - the Annual DKC Frolic. I'm happy that I'll be teaching again - my favourite subject, Finishing!
There are a lot of excellent teachers & the vendor list is enticing ... put it on your calendars!!
Man I MISS the Frolic!!! Such a great event. Lucky people having you teach them finishing--an important skill and by a seriously skilled teacher. Lucky lucky lucky. BTW, quick thumb coda: years ago I had my thumb crushed under a barn door (long story...) and although my thumb pain was for very different reasons than yours, I fully relate to the seriously unbearable nature of thumb pain!! I have broken bones and walked on them, had clumps of myself removed for this and than, had my shoulder dislocate in all sorts of inconvenient moments, but nothing NOTHING nothing rivals that thumb pain. Anyway I just wanted to send a little signal of "thumbs up!" and "I hear ya!" Big hugs. Please frolic just a tiny bit for me too, k? xoxo Lorraine
