Watching TAR with Wannietta - V

Summer Hill - totally the opposite of Silent Hill.
Pouty - still the Ken & Tina show.
Cambodia
Cambodia - that'll be a test.
I'll tell you what I think Ken - that you have fun when you do things together and win.
Sure Terence - you'll get in & out of any airport without another team seeing you.
Careful fellow TAR watchers - Kelly & Christy are cracking out the brain power. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Oh Snap! Doing a great job ... of going fast Terence.
Hazzard Smileys
Poor Americans - kms got him all confused.
Don't worry Sarah, you had him pegged. He's slow.
Again with the geographically challenged Dallas.
Map
"Out running me out the gate ..." "C'mon Sarah - move it." Make up your frelling mind dude!
I'd've thought that Kelly & Christy were a bit old for the high school mean girl games.
You're a sweetie Ty - you would trade her in for a Porsche, but would you trade her for a Bugatti Veyron?
It's a f'ing sexy car dude - tell the truth ... I made you think about it!
Well, at least Ty & Aja can make their comeback with the Frat Boys.

Lucky SOB's!!!
Clover They should stop and buy a lottery ticket or two.
Poor Ty & Aja!
Airports are a great equalizer & cabbies are the biggest crap shoot.
LMAO - how does "hotel" sound like "road"
I'll never complain about a slow pump in Canada again.
Gas Pump
Kelly & Christy must be saving up that brain power for a task.
He might now where he's going Nick, it's a matter of if the truck will make it.
That's right, cranking slow must work the same as cranking fast.
If those Frat Boys can't work it out Ty & Aja stand a chance.
Just gotta work up some pressure/suction dudes.
Terence and Sarah sure scored the truck with the power.
"Señor"?
Mexico? Cambodia is not México Starr. Serves you right Starr.
The poorer you are the harder you have to work for what little you've got. Good thing that Kelly & Christy have brain power working for them back home.
Terence sure is making a super effort - good on him!
Clapping Hands
Stop asking how far away it is Terence - it's too far to pole it dude.

Village Life or Village Work
A floating basketball court
Basketball - that's off the hook! Like it's not hard enough on solid land.
I'd totally go with the work - you could get totally lost trying to find 3 different shops.
Although that water is disgusting.
I'm scared
Scared 2 - can you imagine what would happen if they started using their brains?
That's a stunningly beautiful temple!
Even more scared.
Scared 2
Don't worry Aja - they're not snapping fish. Shark
Oh goody - I can't wait to see Nick's sense of direction in action.
Passing the Frat Boys isn't really a stellar accomplishment.
Tina's confused
Question Mark - alert the presses!
Wow - even I could get all zen at that temple.
Don't worry Kelly - the other teams will be scared.
You said it Tina - totally blind.
I've got to give Ken credit - either he really has the patience of Job or TAR is kindly editing out his frustration.
Waiting

I don't think that whatever Tina did worked - I didn't hear any echo(s).
Yes Tina, you are the weakest link.
Bad Karma dudes - we don't compare a temple to a Playboy mansion.
C'mon Ty - you can do this.
Hurry Up
I guess Tina did it well enough - Phil didn't call her on it.
Aja doesn't seem worried that they haven't seen a team yet.
Geez - is there really no non-elimination leg or is Phil just holding out on us.
Aw ... Ty is a sweetie!

Watching TAR with Wannietta - IV

How annoying! It's About Time Well, it's TAR time finally - I'll bet it's worth the wait!

I knew it! Gee Starr, I just don't know how you thought that attempting to U-turn a team wouldn't make things worse!
New Zealand - cool!
Well Ken, we'll just see how well you take care of each other when the
Cookie cookie starts crumbling.
Note to Dallas' Alma mater - don't make him your poster child.
No, I'm sure that a Blonde Shortage in New Zealand would have been the leading story on the 6 o'clock news around the world.
The Ty charm seems to have lost its sparkle for Aja.
Desire = Frustration. The next great equation.
"I know they're into kiwis". And how could it not be the Dan Show with insights like that?
Marissa & Brooke are a strong enough team to know how to play Dan & Andrew.
Aja is totally not very patient. I mean, yeah she's right this time, but there may have been another flight available.
Awwwww - kissing & making up!
Couples
Poor Ken & Tina - they're going to have to work to get a lead again.
Mercedes Benz's - awesome!
Terence & Sarah, Dan & Andrew and Ken & Tina sandwich - ewwww!
If that's what you have to tell yourself to sleep at night Nick - we know you're dying to know where Kelly & Christy are at!
OMG - "touch me a little, play with my hair"!! How about we save the high maintenance foreplay until you're off-camera Terence?
"You can't get lost". Sounds like a curse to me.
Hmmmm - who's right - Sarah or Terence? Not surprised that it's Sarah.
WTF was that?!!
Scared 1
Geez - look at that rim - he drove up against some curb that didn't like it.
Hey Ty - let Aja drive next time.
Man up & change the tire Ty ... I'm sure that there's even a manual in the glove box.

A good Samaritan - lucky for Ty.
Well, mostly the best knots are tight. Loose knots are just tangles.
Silly Sarah - it has to be untangled because it's a knot & a Task.
Oh Cool - the Fast Forward!
Ummmm, no. I pass.
CN Tower Me and heights ... not so much.
You go Andrew & Dan!
Dally!!! He'll never forgive her for letting that one slip!
Andrew was a slow driver.
Turtle
Finding a matching tattoo - I could totally do that.
Do you think that they'd stand still if you like asked really nicely?
Maori The warrior has a spear Sarah - I really don't think that Terence should make any uninvited overt moves on him.
At least it's light out now - that's got to make the matching a bit less challenging.
Chaos is a legitimate theoretical jumping point Sarah. Terence may be on to something.
I think that Marissa & Brooke have forgotten about the "Race" part of The Amazing Race.

Even the Frat Boys didn't buy that lame cover-up! "We decided to walk".
I'll bet that Maori are really great big, snuggly teaddy bears at home!
Baby With Bear
Hell yeah you've got to hurry - you've got to run to the bottom now.
8 down Toni? Don't people normally count floors from the ground up?
Are you new Sarah? Trust Terence?
A
Rainbow - it was beautiful!
Shit! Bloody Nick is good lucky.
Well, you're still in the game in that Phil hasn't said that you're eliminated yet.
Lovely
Sheep.
Phil's dad is very distinguished looking & sounding.
What? How bad can anyone be at pulling the tear strip on an envelope?
A Matter of Time or A Matter of Skill
No worries mate - I'd totally go for the kiwi squashing, and I'm sure that I could choke down a glass of kiwi/foot juice. Though Kerwyn would rock out the blow cart making, but then I'd probably blow at driving it.
St Pookie? Poor Brooke.
Toni is hilarious - I'm laughing myself silly thinking about Lucy & Ethel!!

OMG - Andrew and those green pants!
Poor Nick with the sensitive feet.
Kelly & Christy are awesome! Nick & Starr are going to be kicking themselves.
I'm sure that the nice man said don't put your hands out Starr.
Good on Kelly & Christy!!
Okay - I don't like her, but I really hope that she didn't actually break her arm.

She's moving it around a lot - I think that it's not broken.
Ewww - it's her hand, not her arm. Something definitely looks wrong.
Why the hell is Nick making/letting her drive???
There ya go - it took long enough to let your inner gentleman/good brother out.
No
The turning point of every great friendship - when one friend can prove that his friend needs him.
It's not the kiwi seeds that are hurting.
Hurry Up Don't let the Belles be winning.
Phew.
You Could Use A Hug

Awww - Phil's dad is a real gentleman! Big Hug

CSNF II

Okay - I bought stuff, but it's totally excellent!

For Amanda - we can paint it together! Nice brights to match her room.

Cashmere Georgie (a Seinfeld reference). Jodi & I love our Made in Scotland 100% cashmere scarves.

A sheep mug. How could I resist??

CSNF 1

I was in classes most of yesterday - Creative Jewellery Art where I got all blingy with the Swarovski crystals, a wool cross stitch class with Teresa Wentzler and a 3-D snowflake class (meh).
Today I'm in with Teresa again for a Dragon Scissor Fob then I can hit the show floor.
The presentation last night by Kayla Kennington was best enjoyed by the sewers and costumers, but Jodi & I made the best of it. I got quite a bit of knitting done on my latest secret project.

I was down amongst the vendors for a few minutes and Joe at the SWTC booth had a tattoo for me! I felt a bit slighted that we didn't have the eye-candy that they had at Stitches Midwest handing out the tats, but I got over it when he gave me a ball of Therapi for my swatching pleasure!! I'll let you know tonight what I think of that.

Shouts out to Shannon & Kittynne!!

Watching TAR with Wannietta - III

I would really love to see Mark & Bill kick Ken & Tina to the curb & come in 1st tonight!

It'll be the new threat on the street - "Back off biotch or I'll throw your sports bra away!"
Sarah's a quick study - 3rd leg and she's getting that it's not a popularity contest & that they're competing against the other teams & not with them.
Laughing at other people makes me feel better every time too.
ROTFL
I'm not sure if they're underestimating you & Brooke, Marissa. They may be exactly estimating you.
I wonder if Ken & Tina will be all about whoever got there 1st gets to go out 1st?
It would take more than Nick pouring on the sweet school-boy charm
Propeller to get over losing a sports bra. That's serious shit - you don't mess with a woman's support garment.
I bet the divorcee's are wishing that they'd rolled with Nick & his charm a bit.
Good idea Tina - as fast as you can in gridlock.
Kid With Toy Car
Musical March or Bumpy Ride
Are you kidding me? Musical March all the way!! Those "locally made bikes" look positively prehistoric.
Caveman (no offense to any of my Neanderthal readers)
Oh Snap!! Mis-reading those clues (or not reading them in their entirety) will get you every single time!
I wonder how far Mark & Bill will go before they realize? Will they actual get to the finish line & have to serve a time penalty?

Fred Flintstone brakes!
Maybe you could get them to tap out a faster beat?
Band
Careful what you wish for Terence - all downhill may not be a good idea.
Do you think that the feathers are for some sort of areodynamic thing - like feathers on an arrow? Or maybe just a sick sense of humour?
Terence certainly does have quite the persecution complex - it seems like everyone is out to get him.
What marching band doesn't try to keep up to the cute cheerleaders?
Cheerleader 1 Silly Frat Boys!
Dirty pool trying to get Ty & Aja to do your dirty work for you.
No
Karma Starr ... think about the Karma!

There ya go! You don't really need to U-turn the Divorcees.
Gotta love the cabbies
Cab Driver - lost Map, empty tanks and broke-down jallopies!
Fighting Cholitas!!!
They look like they mean business!
Boxing
LMAO - he doesn't want to fight a girl. He better get into the spirit of it - they look like tough cookies.
It's like a 3 Stooges routine
Stooges or a comedic WWF.
Poor Mark & Bill, so blissfully unaware of the hole that they're getting deeper into by the minute.

Overheating & empty!
Marissa is not getting into this.
Oh yeah - way to stir up the trouble stew Aja.
See - now Dallas is having a great time!
Frat Boy looks like he's enjoying throwing that Cholita around.
C'mon Mark - work it out!
Aw man!! They're not going to have enough time to serve out a penalty ... if they get that lucky.

If Bill had his knitting the waiting
Waiting
would still be nerve wracking but at least it would be productive.
Damn - bloody Tina won again.
Kicking Dirt
Life & relationships are always enjoyable when you're ahead of the pack Ken. It's how you (and Tina) handle the bad times that will make or break your marriage. Bride & Groom
But Phil did say "may" be eliminated ... this could be a non-elimination leg.
I love the cabbie races ... like they care if the Americans get anywhere fast!
That's quite the hat that the finish line lady is sporting - bright and feathery!
30 minutes - they're totally screwed.
Goodbye

Missing one little thing is sad - especially when that one little thing is exactly what you said you were going to take your time & do at the start of the race.

That's totally a shame - they were such a great team!
I'm glad that Kelly & Christy are still in it. I'm sure they and Nick & Starr will keep it interesting next week.
