Relay for Life
We did it! Team DKC raised over $2600 for the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life and we knit a bunch of scarves that will be donated to a hospice for Cancer survivors (Joan did mention which one but I am incapable of remembering it right now). Thank you to everyone who sponsored me (you know who you are!!). I really appreciate your support of me, the DKC team and the CCS. I also want to thank the following companies who contributed yarn for scarves:
We had a great time walking some and knitting even more! A lot of other participants and volunteers stopped by to admire the scarves so we are quite certain that the courageous ladies who
will wear them will wear these one of a kind "pink ribbons" with pride.
